3 Allen G. Culbertson Senior, 66, of Garland, Pennsylvania and Jamestown, New York, died unexpectedly on July 5th, 2011, at his residence.
He was born November 24th, 1944, to the late Earl G. and Leatha B. Baner Culbertson.
He was born in Warren, Pennsylvania and was raised in Corry Pennsylvania, graduating from Corry High School, where he was very active in FFA, football and wrestling. He entered the United States Navy and fought in the Vietnam War. He worked at Berenfeild Steel Drum of Clarendon, and the Warren State Hospital for 21 1/2 years, prior to his retirement. Allen enjoyed fishing, crossword puzzles, hunting and visiting with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Brenda Decker Culbertson of Garland Pennsylvania; four children: Michelle(Rodney) Seekins and her companion, Scott Knepp of Clarendon, Chyvonne Baltes and her companion, Martin Levinson, of Garland, Allen Culbertson Junior, and his companion, Angela Zakrzeswski of Pittsfield Pennsylvania, and Robert G. Culbertson of Garland; 10 grandchildren: Adrianna and Abigail Culbertson, who reside with him, Robert, Christopher, Dylan, Shawn, Joshua, and Lea Seekins, Jacob and Katlyn Knepp; as well as two brothers: Earl and Lois Culbertson of Shelby North Carolina, and Robert and Donna Culbertson of Youngsville, Pennsylvania; two sisters, Sandra and David Doutt of Corry Pennsylvania, and Dona and Edward Malek of Pittsfield Pennsylvania. His mother-in-law, Betty Welch of sugar Grove Pennsylvania, as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by an infant sister.
Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery.
