Shirley Ann Williamson was a Beautician.2 Shirley (Williamson) Hunt was born Dec. 14, 1934, in Custer, S.D., to Emmet Williamson and Laura (Bender) Williamson. She graduated from Custer High School in 1953 and in 1954 she married her high school sweetheart, Wesley Hunt, after he returned from his service in Korea.
Shirley was a beautician by trade, and worked at the Curley Locks Beauty Salon in the '60s in Custer. She also worked with her mother at the Rock Crest Lodge in the '70s for a few years. The rest of her life she devoted to her family.

Shirley's favorite pastime was fishing and going camping with her family and friends. She loved a good story and a good joke, as well as telling a few of her own. The family pets, "The Boys," were her pride and joy.

Shirley died Sunday, Dec. 16, 2007, at her home in Custer. She was 73. She was preceded in death by her father, Emmet Williamson; mother, Laura Williamson; and brother, Wesley Williamson of Custer.

She is survived by her husband, Wesley; and daughter, Kimberly (Ron) Moos of Custer . A memorial service will be held at Custer Wesleyan Church at 10 a.m., Friday, Dec. 21 with Pastor Dan Benedict officiating.
