Gerald Milton Reynolds was born on 17 January 1943 in Summer Hill, New York.² He and Nancy Louise Slade were married about 1966. He died on 9 August 2021, at age 78, in Cortland County, New York.² He was buried in Mount Hope Cemetery, Norwich, Chenango, New York.²

Gerald Milton Reynolds was a SUNY Cortland Employee.³ Gerald M. Reynolds, Jr., 78, of North Lamont Dr., Cortland, passed away on August 9, 2021 at Crown Center Nursing Facility.

A lifelong area resident, Gerry was born January 17, 1943 in Summer Hill, a son of the late Gerald M. Sr and Beulah Brown Reynolds, and was a 1965 graduate of Homer Central.

Growing up, Gerry worked on his family farm, and then later worked at the Roland Oakes Farm. Gerry was employed at SUNY Cortland for 27 years in the Maintenance Dept. until his retirement in 1999.

Gerry was a member of St. Matthew's Episcopal Church, Moravia and was a 50-year member of the NYS Grange, serving as Master of the Albright Grange #440, East Homer.

He was affectionately known as the 'Donut Man' at the Cortland Senior Club where he was active for several years.

Surviving is his wife of 35 years, Eleanor L. Day Reynolds; his three sons, Jeffery A. (Judy) Reynolds, Emmett J. (Michelle) Reynolds and Ricky C. (Patricia) Reynolds; his sister, Jeanette (Eddy) Angell; a sister-in-law, Toni Reynolds; seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his first wife, Nancy L. Slade Reynolds in 1984 and a brother, Richard Reynolds in 2019.

In keeping with Gerry's wishes, services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Burial will be at The Mount Hope Cemetery in Norwich, NY.

Irene Ann Pless was born on 20 December 1927 in New York. She and Richard Perry Sovocool were married in 1946. She and Richard Perry Sovocool were divorced before 20 May 1952 Yes. She died on 3 February 1990, at age 62.

SPONAUGLE, JANE

Age 63, of Lake Road, Dryden, NY passed away Saturday, July 25, 2015 at St. Joseph's Hospital.

Jane was born February 20, 1952 in Cortland, NY a daughter of the late Vera Sovocool Burlingame and Alanson DeWitt Burlingame, III.

Jane was graduated from Dryden High School in 1970 and on January 30, 1971 was married to Larry Sponaugle in McLean. Jane enjoyed horses, rodeos and attending car shows with her Mustang. She looked forward to family vacations to the St Lawrence and the Adirondacks. Jane will be greatly missed by her family and her many friends.

Survivors include her husband of 44 years.....; her son.....; and her daughter.....; three grandchildren......; two sisters.....; many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents and her brother, Alanson D. Burlingame, IV.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM, Thursday, July 30, 2015 at the Perkins Funeral Home with Rev. Harold Wheat officiating.

Burial will follow in Green Hills Cemetery, Dryden.
