Biography

Nellie Ann Sivyer was born on 22 October 1889 in Dereham Township, Oxford, Ontario, Canada.1 She died on 3 February 1908, at age 18, in Dereham Township, Oxford, Ontario, Canada. She was buried in Eden Baptist Cemetery, Eden, Bayham, Elgin, Ontario, Canada.2
From Grace Noad's notes:
Nellie Sivyer died young (at age 18). She was musical and I had her music book. This book was placed along with others in the museum in Beachville. The fingering in this book was different using a small x for thumb and numbering the fingers 1,2,3,4. It started out like a beginner's book but progressed quite rapidly to more difficult selections. I do not know if she played piano or organ.
