I also found a record that Charles Clark Kilmer and Grace Jenkins were married July 4,1886 at Smiths Mill in Waseca County, Minnesota. I know Ada told me more than once about a family member who got married in Iowa at the Little Brown Church in the Vale. Don't remember now who it was. But the record shows it wasn't Charley and Grace as I had thought. ...Maybe it was Ada and Dewey who wanted to get married there, but ended up just in the parsonage of Madelia Methodist Church.
