Birth: 22 February 1926 in Grand Island, Hall, Nebraska.

Thomas was actually not related on the Windemuth line, the son of Orial Vera Janssen and reportedly "Harry Smith" from Grand Island, Nebraska. Orial then married Adolph Elgan 10 Jan 1927 in Council Bluffs, Pottawattamie, Iowa. Orial was in turn the daughter of Martin Herman Janssen and Nina Della Milligan.

His biological line was through Nina whereas our connection is through William Henry Hutchins. Since these two adopted him I've left him in our record showing him as adopted, but I don't show Tom's mother Orial, or for Tom his spouse or any descendants. For our record I have basically left it as is but changed his relationship to William as "adopted" and to Nina as "related", entering what I have here in his notes to hopefully explain. .

Henry H. Judy, 76, a Grand Island resident for 53 years, died Wednesday at a local hospital. Funeral services for Mr. Judy are pending. Mr. Judy made his living as a horse shoer, and had a clientele in several states. He worked in his business until he became ill last fall.

He was born Nov. 1, 1895, in Bath County, Ky., the son of Martin and Florence Cassidy Judy. When he was six years old, the family moved to Missouri where he received his education. He married Grace Hutchins on Jul y 1, 1916, in Marshalltown, Iowa. The couple lived in Marshalltown until 1920 when they moved to Grand Island. He was a member of the Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church.

Mr. Judy is survived by his widow; four sons, Edgar and Donald of Grand Island, Charley of San Antonio, Texas, and Dale of Lake City, Minn.; five daughters, Mrs. Gretchen Pollock and Mrs. Beverly Pollock of Grand Island, Mrs. Lucille Ahrens of Council Bluffs, Iowa, Mrs. Helen Bunde of Hastings and Mrs. Mary Bremer of Gretna; 38 grandchildren, 33 great-grand- children; three sisters, Mrs. Teanie Ridgeway of Broadwell, Ill., Mrs. Jessie Trent of Redwood, Calif., and Mrs. Jennie Fordham of Marshalltown , Iowa.

He was preceded in death by three daughters, one son, three brothers and his parents.
