Mr. Lloyd is survived by his son, Doug Lloyd and wife Anita; and Doug's mother, Dorothy; daughters, Brenda Perry and Husband Fred, and Beverly Jorgensen; brother, G. Ray Lloyd; 4 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren; and close friend Eulalie Crosland.

Visitation was from 5-8pm on Sunday, April 25, 2004 at Canon Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral services was held on Monday, April 26, 2004 at 10:00am at Canon Funeral Home with James's brother, Rev. Glenn Ray Lloyd, officiating.

Interment followed in Springer Macedonia Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to be made to Springer Macedonia Cemetery.

James lived to be 80 years and 3 days old.

Raymond Snover passed away peacefully of natural causes on Nov. 1st. He was preceded in death by wife Helen. He was born on May 8, 1936 in Beaumont, TX and graduated from Texas A&M with a mechanical engineering degree. Ray fell in love with the Pacific Northwest on his honeymoon with Helen. As a resident of Bellingham since 1970, he worked at ARCO's Cherry Point Refinery as the Manager of Maintenance. He enjoyed boating, fishing, supervising personal construction projects and spending his spare time in the San Juan Islands. He loved travel, wine, and was an avid spectator of all things sports related. Ray is survived by daughter Katie and husband Jeff of Kirkland, WA; son Mike and wife Laura Snover of Beijing, China; grandson Jim Popolow; granddaughters Hailey and Laynie Snover; sister Carol Honeycutt of Olney, Maryland; brother Robert and wife Deanna of Burlingame, CA; and 8 nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center at www.fredhutch.org. A private graveside service will be held at Ray's request. An open house in celebration of his life will be held Friday, Nov. 11 between 4:00-7:00PM at 239 North State Street, Bellingham.
