Biography
Elizabeth (Lizzie) Kilmer was born in Malahide Township, Elgin, Ontario, Canada.
1 She was born on 8 July 1818 in Malahide, Elgin, London District, Upper Canada.

Abraham Wintemute were married on 16 April 1835 in Bayham Township, Elgin, London District, Upper Canada West. She died on 10 June 1885, at age 66, in Elgin County, Ontario, Canada. She was buried in Firby Cemetery, Corinth, Bayham, Elgin, Ontario, Canada.
Elizabeth (Lizzie) Kilmer was also known as Elizabeth Kilmer.
Elizabeth's age was given as 43 in the 1861 census of Dereham, as 56 in 1871 Malahide Township census, age 65 in 1881 census Malahide but age 47 in Dereham Township Census of 1851
The Kilmers had come to Bertie Township Welland Co about 1805 from the Town of Dauanesburg in Schenectady County N.Y. and lived near the Wintermutes and Nears in Bertie.
Thomas Kilmer's brother Heinrich (Henry ) moved to Malahide in 1816 and it is likely that Thomas and Margaret Kilmer moved to Malahide about the same time (Lot 29 Concession 7)
The Kilmer book states that he was in Elgin earlier that 1830 that the Elgin County Atlas of 1877 states that he arrived.
A family picture likely taken late 1880's shows Abram and Elizabeth with 7 sons and 2 daughters (Missing one son and 2 daughters.)
