Herman Meyer, age 66, of Fostoria, passed away Wednesday, November 30, 1977 at the Lapeer County General Hospital.
Herman Meyer was born May 17, 1911 in Lapeer County, the son of Martin and Anna (Snover) Meyer. He married Georgia L. Byrd at Mayville on December 6, 1941 and they have lived in at Fostoria for 36 years. Mr. Meyer was a retired nurses aid at Lapeer County Medical Care Facility and was a member of Fostoria Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife Georgia; two sons, John of Fostoria and Herman LeRoy of Lapeer; a daughter, Betty Howley of Burton; 10 grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Ida Davis and Mrs. Emma Kimmery of Flint and Amelia Carney of Mt. Morris; and a brother, Frederick of Sterling Heights.
Funeral services were held Saturday, December 3, at 1 pm at Fostoria Baptist Chruch. Rev. Fred Kinkle officiated and burial was at Watertown Cemetery. Arrangements were made by Blackmore and Tubbs Funeral Home, Inc., Mayville.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Arthur T. (Frances) Kinnee, Port Huron and a granddaughter and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be Friday at 1 p.m. in Hubert V. Lucas Funeral Home. Rev. Lloyd E. Christler, of Washington Avenue United Methodist Church, will officiate. Rev Thomas Badley of Rochester will assist.
Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery. Visitation is in the funeral home from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today.
Pallbearers are Charles W. and Albert H. Butlin and Charles A., Alex C., Lawrence A., and Clifford A. Badley.
Memorials may be made to Washington Avenue United Methodist Church.

Arthur preceded her in death on October 14, 2007. They resided in Port Huron, MI prior to moving to Davison in 1995. Frances was a member of First Congregational Church in Port Huron where she served as a Financial Secretary. She also supported her husband in all of his business ventures. Upon moving to Davison, Frances attended Davison Missionary Church. She loved traveling with Arthur in their RV. Frances enjoyed reading and spending time with her family. Frances is survived by her daughter, Pam (Gordon) Gingrich; grandchildren, Lori (Eric) Detwiler and Lisa (Eric) Lott; great-grandchildren, Abigail, Andrea, Alaina, Annalisa, Bryce and Brady.
